Ferry cancelled!!

Just finishing putting the last few bits and bibs in the bus when I get a text saying the crossing is cancelled, Pompei to Le Havre. Funny old thing, can't get through to the company as engaged with all the other passengers kicking off.

No messing around as campsites etc booked so, Plan B. Booked a ferry from Dover to Calais instead, 6 and 2 3's with travelling time so no probs. Onwards and upwards!

Packing!

3 days to go so spent most of the day packing Irene. Enough nappies and food for crazy Daisy for 80 days! What with all the camping kit and the usual bits and bobs, Irene is pretty rammed. Still we are going away for 10 weeks, anyone jealous yet? :0)

Not long now!

A week to go before we head off round Europe.
Just fine tuning all the bits and bobs for the set up and looking for the campsites.
Hoping to try and keep up with the blog, even if it is once a week with a few pics and a wee write up. Stay tuned!

Two weeks to go, whoop whoop!

Two weeks until we start our travels around Europe. We are heading off on the 31st August for 10 weeks, maybe longer on a European trip.

Starting in Annecy, then South of France, Northen Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Belgium and ending in Paris. If we are enjoying ourselves too much, then might stay a bit longer.

Anyway, 2 weeks to go!!

Daisy looking funky with her shades on

Our current set up, just needs a bit of fine tuning

Stayed in Carnon Downs holiday camp between Truro and Penryn, highly recommended. This was a wee logistical trial for the upcoming 10 week European trip, all went well :0)
